Sports Tours to Hong Kong

Flight Time = approximately 12 hours

Hong Kong is ideal for a short tour or a stopover break on the way to destinations like Australia and New Zealand. Hong Kong is frequently described as a place where ‘East meets West’, reflecting the culture's mix of the territory's Chinese roots with the culture brought to it during its time as a British colony. Sport has a high profile in Hong Kong; why not combine your tour with watching the IRB Rugby Sevens which takes place every March.

There is plenty to see and do while you are in Hong Kong. Highlights include a New Lantau Island Tour – where sights include visiting a traditional fishing village, Po Lin Monastery, Giant Buddha and the Ngong Ping cable car ride. The Hong Kong Island Tour is also a must as it includes a ride on the Peak Tram to Victoria Peak and a tour of Aberdeen Fishing Village on a sampan (small boat) around the harbour. The hive of activity continues into the nigh time with restaurants and markets galore staying open late. Take a walk along the Avenue of Stars where you can see the daily Symphony of Lights show; here the skyscrapers are lit up across both sides of the harbour with lasers – truly a sight not to be missed!
