South America is an interesting and unspoilt continent offering tours a mixture of cultures and wonderful sights. Whilst on tour you can experience the hustle and bustle of large cities, tropical rainforests, breathtaking sceneries and historical civilisations that were dominated by the Inca’s in the 16th Century and more recently have been influenced by explorer’s and settlers from Spain, Portugal, Italy and Britain. Highlights of South America include Rio de Janerio, Buenos Aires, Santiago and Iguazu Falls.

There are a wide range of sports played in the continent of South America, the most popular being football. Other popular sports include rugby, basketball, tennis, golf, volleyball and hockey. South America will hold its first Olympic Games in 2016 in the capital city of Brazil - Rio de Janerio!

Argentina

Argentina is privileged to have some of the best sporting facilities and opposition; teams will be spoilt for choice on venues and teams to play against. Popular places to visit include Buenos Aires, Rosario and Mar del Plata. There are plenty of excursion opportunities such as a trip to the Estancia Santa Susana ranch where you can enjoy local BBQ food whilst watching a Gaucho show. Football enthusiasts are able to visit the stadiums of both Boca Juniors and their arch rivals River Plate.
