Winning Tours has been involved with Amsterdam Sevens for the past two years, with a Travel Places representative travelling to the tournament in 2009 to meet with the tournament organiser Neil Anderson and to inspect the tournament and surrounding area of Amsterdam. In 2010 Winning Tours arranged the travel for four high profile teams including the eventual tournament winners Samurai Rugby.
Winning Tours is pleased to announce that they are one of the official travel agents working along side the event organisers of Amsterdam Sevens. The Amsterdam Sevens has been a highlight on the Rugby Calendar since 1972 when the AAC Rugby Club organised the first tournament. It has grown over the years to become one of the biggest Sevens tournaments in the world attracting top teams from around the globe.
In 2011 there are three tournaments held over the weekend of 21st and 22nd May 2011; a Men’s Sevens planned for 60 teams, a Ladies Sevens planned for 16 teams and a Veterans 10s planned for 16 teams. Please apply as early as possible to avoid disappointment. This can be done via the tournament website www.amsterdamsevens.com
